Founder: Dan Lemons

Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and his MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher School of Business. Dan holds Mechanical Contracting licenses in Ohio and Kentucky.

Dan spent the first 15 years of his career working in business development, sales and mid-level management for Johnson Controls, IPALCO-District Energy and Carrier Corporation. Dan spent the last 21 years of his corporate career working as an Operating Company President for Comfort Systems USA. He built a failing $5M company into a $100M+ company with 6 locations through organic, new location startup and acquisition growth.

After working 35+ years in Corporate America and private business, focused on mechanical HVACR contracting, building systems and energy businesses; Dan founded Strategic Growth Solutions. The experience and knowledge that he obtained equipped him with the skills in leadership, sales, finance, financial accounting, operations, negotiations and strategy needed to build and grow successful businesses.

We specialize as advisors and agents to Trades-based businesses. Examples of Trades-based businesses are: HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical, Building Controls, Security, Roofing and Signage.
